Tree: Unknown

I don’t know too much about this one, really. It’s been a long damned time since I’ve been to Del Mar (which is, by the way, a beautiful town). I know that this was in Del Mar, and I’m pretty sure that it was in Seagrove Park (though it could have been Powerhouse Park, which is right next to Seagrove). I took this one on a trip to San Diego in 2005. I didn’t take a digital camera on the trip for reasons that have been lost to me through the years, so I was using a bunch of black and white instant cameras that I found on clearance because they were expired. When I got back, I promptly lost them and didn’t get them processed for five years. The pictures came back completely blown out. They look very, very much like they were taken in the seventies, and I love them.

Anyway, this picture is one of those. I’ll be doing another Great Tree post from the very same roll of film soon, from just up the street in front of the post office in Del Mar.
